He was named Cincinnati Division II-III Player of the Year as a senior in football but didn't have college football coaches knocking down his door despite his success. Tony discusses the success he enjoyed in other sports, how he found his way to Clifton, and how he found his way to the field because of an injury to a teammate.
Also discussed is how close Pike and the Bearcats came to a National Championship game, playing for Brian Kelly and beating the odds by being drafted and making the Carolina Panthers. Also, in this episode, Tony talks about working with younger quarterbacks and his new radio career.

Miller, who grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina, comes to the Bearcats with an impressive background as a player and coach.
As a player, Miller played at James Madison University before transferring to the University of North Carolina, where he helped the Tar Heels win the 2005 National Championship.
As a coach, Miller took over UNC Greensboro leading UNCG to unprecedented success with three successive 25 win seasons and three Southern Conference championships.
In April, Miller became the Bearcats' new basketball coach and has hit the road running ever since.

He also talks about the recruiting process that saw him earn a three-star ranking with only a couple of schools recruiting him in the Mid American Conference before Iowa and Wake Forest entered the picture late in the process.
Jessie dives into his career at Wake Forest and the coach that influenced him the most before forgoing his remaining eligibility and becoming the Bengals second-round draft pick (No. 54 overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft.
At the start of his Bengals career, Bates turned heads and went from looking like a possible backup to the starting free safety and hasn't looked back since.

Fickell would continue his career at Ohio State and showed his understanding of life in the trenches playing in the 1997 Rose Bowl with a torn pectoral muscle. Injury may have ended his playing career, but as you'll learn in this podcast/videocast, Fickell soon made a life-changing decision by entering the coaching profession.

A two-time World Series Champion with the Boston Red Sox, Youkilis talks about his childhood growing up and attending Sycamore High School before deciding between Butler University and the University of Cincinnati for college.
Growing up a Bearcats fan, Youkilis impressed former Bearcats baseball coach Brian Cleary picking to stay home where he excelled for the Bearcats. Youkilis would earn second-team All-American honors and first-team Conference USA honors as a junior but go undrafted. After another stellar year as a senior, Youkilis would get the call from the Boston Red Sox, who took the Bearcats standout in the eighth round of the 2001 MLB Draft.
After a few years in the minor leagues, Youkilis would get the call from the parent club and never look back, embarking on a ten-year major league career with the Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, and New York Yankees.
After baseball, Youkilis continued his philanthropy work with the Youkilis's foundation, is the father to three children, and happens to be Tom Brady's brother-in-law.
