Mr. Perfect Tom Browning comes off the mound and In The Trenches with Dave Lapham presented by First Star Logistics. Browning talks about his career, learning to throw the screwball that helped propel his career to the Cincinnati Reds where would become one of only a few rookies to win 20 games, and being named The Sporting News' National League Pitcher of the Year.
In 1988, Browning would pitch the 12th perfect game in baseball history with a 1-0 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers and helping the Reds to the 1990 World Series with key wins over the Pittsburgh Pirates in Game 2 of the NLCS and the Oakland A's in Game 3 of the World Series. Always a fan favorite, Browning goes in-depth on how he almost became a St. Louis Cardinal and why Marge Schott wanted to trade him. This is a must-listen for any fan of the Cincinnati Reds.
