Developing the Next Generation: Inside Bengals Safeties Coach Robert Livingston’s Role
In his ninth season on the Cincinnati Bengals coaching staff. Safeties coach Robert Livingston is in charge of helping develop the Bengals' next generation of safeties to help the Bengals win more AFC North, AFC Championships, and their first Super Bowl.
Livingston returned to In The Trenches with Dave Lapham, presented by First Star Logistics, following the first preseason game of the 2023 NFL season to give his thoughts on the likes of new Bengals safety Nick Scott, veteran Michael Thomas, and second-year players Dax Hill and Tycen Anderson, who both made big plays against the Packers last Friday night.
Along with the veterans, Livingston also gives fans more information on rookie Jordan Battle and an in-depth look at cornerbacks Mike Hilton, Cam Taylor-Britt, DJ Turner, and D.J. Ivey.
While the results against the Packers may not have been what Bengals fans wanted, they did witness some big plays out of the secondary. The coach also dives into the second preseason game of the year as the Bengals will travel to Atlanta to battle the Falcons on Friday night.
