Cincinnati Bengals Senior Defensive Assistant Mark Duffner Talks AFC Championship & Super Bowl LVI
After a playing career at William & Mary, Mark Duffner began a coaching career as a graduate assistant under Ohio State head coach Woody Hayes for two seasons before making his first stop in Cincinnati as defensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bearcats (1977-1980).
After becoming a head coach at the college level for 16 seasons, Duffner returned to the Queen City to start a 25-year coaching career in the NFL starting as a linebackers coach (1997-2000) and defensive coordinator (2001-2002) for the Cincinnati Bengals and with stops in Green Bay, Jacksonville, Miami, and Tampa Bay before rejoining the Bengals in 2019 as a senior defensive assistant coach.
