Amazing: Joe Burrow Is Back

August 16, 2022

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has traded in his golf cart for practice gear and returned to the Bengals preseason training camp.

The third-year signal-caller has missed time since camp started having undergone an appendectomy but hasn't missed much as he took part in meetings a few days after surgery and has been seen on the field taking mental reps.

Not only did Burrow return, but wide receiver Tee Higgins was also back in the mix and taking reps.

In the Trenches with Dave Lapham, presented by First Star Logistics, take a quick look at what Burrow's return means for the team as they continue getting ready for their Week One opponent, the Pittsburgh Steelers. And how his teammates responded to him being back in the huddle.

Dave Lapham Postgame Thoughts | Bengals Fall To Cardinals 36-23 In Preseason Opener

August 13, 2022

The first preseason game of the 2022 NFL season for the AFC Champions Cincinnati Bengals didn't go the way many may have thought. While there were a few bright spots with the dream night for quarterback Drew Plitt and the always impressive Evan McPherson, who hit 58-yard and 56-yard field goals.

And while receivers Kendric Pryor and Trent Taylor enjoyed solid performances, fans should be encouraged by the sight of Joe Burrow being on the field running gassers and throwing the football around.

This episode of In The Trenches with Dave Lapham, presented by First Star Logistics, gives you a deeper look at the Bengals' 36-23 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Pat McInally Is Still In The Starting Lineup - Talks Bengals of Today and Big Announcement

August 1, 2022

Two former Cincinnati Bengals roommates get together on the latest episode of In The Trenches with Dave Lapham, presented by First Star Logistics.

A multi-sport athlete at Villa Park High School in California, Pat McInally turned down playing basketball at UCLA under legendary coach John Wooden to play football at Harvard.

At Harvard, McInally would become a two-time football first-team All-Ivy League performer before being drafted in the 1975 NFL Draft.

Leading up to the draft, McInally scored the only recorded perfect score on the famed Wonderlic test, then was drafted in the fifth round of the draft by the Bengals. However, his start in professional football was delayed when he suffered a broken leg in the College All-Star Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, missing the 1975 season.

He returned in 1976 and played his entire career with the Bengals ending in 1985. After his playing career ended, McInally conceived the Starting Lineup series of Action Figures with Cincinnati-based Kenner.

McInally talks about his life on and off the field, why he's excited about the return of the Starting Lineup series with Hasbro, and how he and his family are still big fans of the Bengals with huge expectations in 2022.
